Title: Bartender - Local Candidates Preferred

Department: Food and Beverage Employment Type: Seasonal - Full Time Location: Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge

Description: Bartenders provide positive guest interactions while serving in a friendly and efficient manner. They help ensure customers have an exceptional dining experience by serving food and beverages throughout the restaurant and bar, following all state and local laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:

Mix and serve drinks following standard recipes.
Organize and set up the workspace before, during, and after each shift, including stocking, cleaning, sanitizing, and prep work.
Present menus and recommendations knowledgeably to guests.
Greet and welcome guests while maintaining a professional appearance.
Operate a computerized point-of-sale system, completing financial transactions accurately.
Contribute to a positive guest experience with a professional attitude.

Requirements:

Must have or be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handler’s Card.
Must have a valid alcohol safety card for the State of Alaska.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Minimum age of 18 years required to serve alcohol in Alaska.
Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Ability to organize and prioritize work under time constraints in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
Ability to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
