The Role: A Barback is critical to the smooth operation of fast-paced bars. You will assist bartenders by keeping all bar areas clean, stocked, and offering support to ensure efficient and friendly service for guests. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive, fun, and quick on their feet.
Responsibilities:
- Stock, set up, and break down all bar products before, during, and after service while assisting bartenders as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in all bar areas including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware, and storage.
- Clear and reset tables in the bar area.
- Prepare garnishes and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar patrons.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old with working knowledge of common drink recipes and spirits.
- Positive energy and a team-oriented attitude.
- Effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests.
- Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
