**JOB SUMMARY**

The Lead Bartender is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to casino guests, maintaining a fast production cycle (2 minutes or less for a 15-drink tray). All tasks are performed following Saracen Casino Resort policies, Internal Control Standards, and objectives.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Prepare and pour drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipes.
Communicate effectively with beverage servers and present drinks to guests or servers as needed.
Slice and pit fruit as required.
Operate and maintain all equipment and utensils in accordance with established safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and stocked workstation per health and safety guidelines.
Operate cash register/POS system accurately, handling cash, charge, and complimentary sales with integrity.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary.
Serve as an ambassador of goodwill, participating in customer relations and promotional activities.
Promote casino events and programs.
Collaborate with the Players Club to encourage new card sign-ups.
Work cooperatively with beverage servers, bartenders, bar helpers, supervisors, and casino management.
Provide personalized service, including using guest names.
Resolve service issues according to guidelines.
Take and deliver food orders when working in the pub area.
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically.
Maintain professionalism and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Meet attendance guidelines and participate in required training.
Assist with special projects as directed.
Hours are scheduled on a 24-hour basis; duties and expectations may change as needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**

Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to count money and make change accurately.
Knowledge of cocktail ingredients, mixing, and pouring techniques.
Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Ability to respond to visual and oral cues.
Capable of writing routine correspondence and effectively interacting with customers and staff.
Strong conflict resolution skills with a diplomatic and tactful approach.
Must be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
Employment contingent upon successful background check and drug screening.

**PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**

Must be physically mobile and able to maneuver throughout the casino.
Able to reach above and below shoulder height, grip small items, bend, stoop, twist, stand, and walk for extended periods (up to four hours).
Able to work in confined spaces and at a fast pace in crowded, noisy environments.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and tolerate extreme weather conditions.
Able to tolerate secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
Maintain physical stamina and a positive mental attitude to work effectively under pressure.
