Job Summary: This seasonal, part-time position is responsible for bartending and bar service. You must engage with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of restaurant experience and knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. Flexible availability is required for day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Free golf is offered for employees on the member first tee schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and serve guests with energy and friendliness.
Create a welcoming atmosphere by knowing the resort and dining areas; respond knowledgeably to member and guest inquiries.
Take and relay food and drink orders accurately.
Serve and clear food and beverages following proper etiquette and procedures.
Connect with guests to ensure their needs are met and deliver excellent service.
Work collaboratively as part of the Food & Beverage team.
Report safety issues or customer concerns to supervisors.
Verify legal drinking age before serving alcohol.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
12 to 24 months of bartending experience preferred.
Must meet state and federal age requirements for serving alcohol.
Current Food Handlers Card required.
Basic math skills to calculate discounts and percentages.
Positive attitude contributing to a friendly, productive environment.
Ability to read and follow simple instructions.
Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and coworkers.
Attention to detail and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Work Environment:

Mostly indoors at a restaurant, but may work outdoors during events with exposure to weather and wildlife.
Can be a loud environment.
Outdoor work may involve walking on uneven terrain while carrying items.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to see, speak, and hear.
Active role involving standing and walking most of the shift.
Ability to lift, balance, carry, bend, reach, and serve items up to 20 pounds.
Frequent hand washing required.
Must be able to read menus, take orders, review bills, and navigate busy areas.
Clear verbal communication is essential.
