Role Overview: Responsible for the maintenance, stocking, and cleanliness of the bar to increase the efficiency and productivity of the bartending team.

Responsibilities:

Stay informed of current menu items and descriptions.
Follow Special Events guidelines to ensure event success.
Handle side duties including stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers; lifting/moving up to 25 lbs.
Clean and maintain bar equipment.
Perform opening, running, and closing side duties according to House of Blues policy.
Manage trash and recycling; separate glass, cardboard, and plastics per local codes.
Operate trash compactor following procedures.
Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinances and company policies.
Keep trash containers clean, odor-free, and lined.
Maintain safety and sanitation standards.
Par all ice bins and bars to venue specifications.
Occasionally work Special Events scheduled throughout the venue.

Qualifications: Required:

Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent.
Ability to work late hours.
Flexible schedule.
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
Tolerance of diverse cultures, music, and art forms.

Preferred:

Three years of experience interacting positively with people.
Experience recognizing valid IDs.
Experience in a live music environment.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

Fast-paced, often loud, and stressful environment.
Extended periods of standing and working on feet indoors or outdoors.
Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
Physically demanding role.

Compensation: The expected pay is $16.90 USD per hour, based on factors such as market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
