Job Description

Title: Bartender

Summary: Responsible for beverage service to Beverage and Food Servers in an assigned service station, ensuring efficient and prompt service for restaurant customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
Provide beverage service promptly and efficiently to Beverage and Food Servers at the service station.
Receive, issue, and maintain records of liquor inventory and supplies.
Maintain a clean and organized bar station at all times.
Understand and comply with the Dram Shop Act, including bartenders' responsibilities and rights.
Knowledge of all gaming and beverage regulations.
Collaborate as a team member with Beverage Servers, Barbacks, Utilities, Supervisors, and other company employees to ensure operational standards.
Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of two to three years of previous bartending experience.
Special Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Effective verbal communication skills.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage abstract and concrete variables.

Physical Demands:

Requires frequent use of hands and arms for handling objects, talking, and hearing.
Frequent standing and walking.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Usually moderate noise level; noise increases to loud on the casino floor.
