Job Description
Title: Bistro Server Bartender
Job Summary: The Bistro Server Bartender is responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, specialty coffees, and serving/preparing food in accordance with the brand's quality and control standards. This role assists in the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department, including banquet service, ensuring courteous and professional service to all hotel patrons. Maintaining proper sanitation at all times in compliance with local health regulations is essential. Candidates must have flexibility in scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Chef or shift supervisor at the beginning of each shift.
- Complete duties assigned by the Chef.
- Assist in checking food quality and taste.
- Monitor staffing levels, inform relevant staff of absences, and consult with management if additional help is needed.
- Ensure warewashing machine operates at proper temperature and chemical levels.
- Set up appropriate dishes and silverware for easy access during shift.
- Verify proper functioning of MICROS equipment and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Work six-hour shifts.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs.
- Valid Food Handlers Card required.
- Willingness and ability to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Previous food and beverage experience.
