Job Title: Bartender Department: Food and Beverage Reports to: FB Manager FLSA: Non-exempt, hourly Salary: $16.90/hour plus Tips

ASM GLOBAL, a public facilities management company, has immediate part-time openings for Bartenders at Save Mart Center.

Summary: This position is responsible for providing high-quality customer service during all events to achieve customer satisfaction and accurate accounting of all transactions, including inventory. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and service individual beverage locations
Properly handle cash and tickets
Enforce all liquor laws and request identification for every guest purchasing alcohol
Verify and account for all liquor inventory
Maintain proper sanitation and safety practices in the work area
Provide pleasant and efficient service to customers
Prepare all beverage items for sale and charge according to ASM Global price list
Verify cash register programming aligns with approved sales prices
Follow all ASM Global Food and Beverage Division rules and bar procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must obtain and maintain a valid California RBS certification
Must pass background and credit checks
Reliable and dependable with ability to take directions
Basic math skills sufficient to handle money accurately
Basic working knowledge of cash register and bar operations
Ability to speak, read, and understand English well enough to communicate with customers and staff
Pleasant personality and neat appearance
Physical ability to stand and walk for entire shifts, and lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Education and Experience:

Basic knowledge of cash handling and bar operations

Skills and Abilities:

Positive, customer service-oriented attitude
Strong knowledge of sanitary practices
Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks
Attention to detail

Physical Demands: Must be able to move throughout the facility, stand for long periods, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds regularly. Work may occur inside or outside depending on event requirements.
