Job Title: Bartender

Supervisor: Shift Manager, Assistant General Manager, General Manager, Area Coach

Status: Non-Exempt

Basic Purpose: A Bartender enjoys interacting with people and working as part of a winning team. The role involves creating a unique, personal experience for each guest by combining enthusiasm, attention to detail, and knowledge of beverage options.

Major Responsibilities:

Build brand and customer loyalty through excellent service.
Greet each guest enthusiastically.
Take and ring orders, handle payments.
Prepare drinks as ordered.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the bar and seating areas, indoors and outdoors.
Ensure the bar is fully stocked for each shift.
Follow all policies related to food safety, job duties, and code of conduct.
Be punctual and flexible with working hours.
Maintain a clean, tidy appearance and work habits.
Adhere to Responsible Alcohol Service Policy, including checking guests’ identification to verify legal drinking age before serving.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

Basic math and reading skills.
Minimum age: 21 years.
TIPS certification required.
At least 6 months of bartending experience.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Maintain current Health Card or work permits as per local requirements.
Physical requirements include standing and walking throughout shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
