Title: Part-Time Bartender

Boozehounds is a dog-friendly, Michelin-recommended hotspot in Palm Springs, CA, preparing for its busiest season. We seek energetic and talented bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This part-time role requires weekend availability and swing shifts.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Provide friendly, personable service to all guests, including their dogs.
Prepare craft cocktails and drinks per recipes and customer requests.
Use POS system to manage guest transactions, cash, and card payments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and seating areas.
Follow health, safety, sanitation, and COVID-19 guidelines.
Verify legal drinking age and serve alcohol responsibly.
Communicate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders accurately.
Restock inventory and complete bar preparation tasks.
Adapt to varying business volumes and support high-volume events.
Maintain professionalism, customer privacy, and cultural sensitivity.
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities:

Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to learn quickly and work well in a team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs.
Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years bartending experience.
Must obtain California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification within 60 days of hire.
Must obtain California Food Handler card within 30 days of hire.

Work Environment: Typical restaurant and bar setting with exposure to hot and cold equipment.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
