Job Summary: The Cocktail Server is responsible for taking drink orders, processing payments through the POS system, purchasing drinks from the bartender for guests, and serving beverages in a courteous and professional manner. They must monitor guests for intoxication and verify legal drinking age.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain a small cash bank to purchase liquor and beer drinks from the bartender and provide change to guests.
Ensure all orders are accurately entered into the POS system.
Open assigned stations at the proper time and according to set standards.
Verify identification for all guests who appear under 30 years old to confirm they are at least 21 before serving alcohol.
Monitor guests for signs of intoxication or abuse and notify Beverage Supervisor or management as needed.
Garnish mixed drinks following established procedures.
Maintain proper uniform, appearance, and punctuality.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum age of 21 years.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferably at least two years of experience as a food/cocktail server in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or casino environment. Prior food server experience will be considered.
Knowledge of emergency procedures, safety, and cleaning protocols.
Familiarity with cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Strong guest service and communication skills.
Proficient in operating POS systems and printers.
Knowledgeable about alcoholic beverages and drink preparation.
Ability to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
Able to work in environments with moderate to high noise levels and possible exposure to smoke.
Exposure to casino floor noise such as ringing bells and flashing lights.
Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
