Title: Pool Bartender

Job Location: Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 Position Type: Seasonal Salary Range: $16.90 per hour

Job Summary: The Pool Bartender works outdoors by the pool, preparing and serving drinks to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized bar area and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Mix beverages using various ingredients including liquor, juices, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
Take beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serve drinks as requested with attention to detail
Satisfy guest requests promptly and provide drink recommendations based on preferences
Collect payment for drinks and provide change as necessary
Verify legal drinking age by checking identification
Balance cash receipts
Keep the bar well-stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and accessories
Clean and organize the bar area, tables, and chairs to maintain sanitation
Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes
Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications and Physical Requirements:

Excellent conversational and communication skills
Teamwork-oriented with a positive and outgoing personality
Ability to work various shifts, including weekends
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, use hands and arms for mixing drinks
Ability to work outdoors in warm weather
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and handle heavy kegs or supply boxes
Able to work in environments with loud noise and occasional crowding
Good hand-eye coordination and vision for handling small items and reading labels
