Pay Rate: $16.90/Hour, Plus Tips Opportunity

Purpose: The Bartender is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely delivery to guest satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide guests with detailed information about menu items, pricing, and allergens
Build rapport with regular guests to encourage repeat business
Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system
Serve food and drinks promptly according to specifications
Replenish necessary stock during shifts
Move furniture as directed by management
Verify guest identification to ensure legal alcohol service (21+)
Assist food servers as needed
Follow precise drink recipes when preparing beverages
Organize and prioritize service tasks
Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally, escalating to management if necessary
Comply with all health, safety, and liquor laws
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Process guest payments accurately, including cash, credit, comps, and other tenders
Ensure accurate accounting and proper cash-out procedures
Clean spills immediately and maintain a tidy bar area
Monitor potentially intoxicated or disruptive guests and notify management
Refuse service courteously when necessary
Complete opening, running, and closing duties
Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly
Assist with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 21 years of age
High school diploma preferred
Valid driver’s license
Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Ability to obtain required state work permits
Minimum two years bartending experience
Proficient with POS systems
Strong knowledge of beer and spirits
Knowledge of safe lifting techniques
Excellent guest relations skills
Understanding of sanitation and safety standards
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Working Conditions:

Work indoors and outdoors, exposed to hot/cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors
Fast-paced, high-volume full-service restaurant environment
Exposure to varying noise levels, crowds, and smoke
Flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform repetitive motions
Ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance
Clear verbal communication and effective listening skills
