Job Description: The Pool Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service and personalized hospitality at both the Pool Bar and The Bar, creating memorable guest experiences that reflect Auberge du Soleil’s Forbes Five-Star standards. This role requires versatility and professionalism in both relaxed outdoor and refined restaurant settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide warm, personalized, and engaging service to every guest, upholding luxury hospitality standards.
Prepare and serve handcrafted cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and attention to detail.
Develop meaningful guest connections by anticipating needs and personalizing beverage recommendations.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktails, beer, and menu offerings.
Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and inventory, ensuring all supplies are stocked.
Follow cash handling, point-of-sale, and payment procedures accurately.
Comply with Responsible Beverage Service regulations and company alcohol policies.
Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service.
Support seamless operations by transitioning between Pool Bar and Bar as needed.
Perform opening, closing, and side work duties, maintaining all bar areas, storage, and service equipment.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Assist with beverage inventory, stocking, and receiving deliveries.
Collaborate with restaurant, culinary, and pool teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Communicate proactively about VIP guests, special events, and operational priorities.
Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
Assist in other food and beverage areas as business needs require.

Compensation: Starting pay rate is $17.90 to $18.90 per hour plus tips. Individual pay decisions are based on experience and education.

Qualifications:

Minimum one year bartending experience in a luxury hotel, resort, fine dining restaurant, or upscale bar preferred.
Skilled in craft cocktail preparation and knowledgeable about premium wines and spirits.
Strong understanding of responsible alcohol service regulations.
Passion for luxury hospitality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling preferred.
