Job Title: Shelly's Bartender (Part Time)

Location: JTNP - Twentynine Palms, CA 92277 Position Type: Part Time Salary: $16.00 per hour Shift: Any Category: Restaurant - Food Service

Summary: This position involves mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons at Spotlight 29 Casino, Tortoise Rock Casino, and other designated locations. The role requires delivering a Five Star Experience to guests and team members by adhering to the organization's Service Promise and mission.

Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service exceeding mission objectives.
Take drink orders and prepare beverages using standard recipes.
Serve wine, draft, and bottled beer.
Handle cash and non-cash transactions accurately and operate the point of sale system.
Order and maintain bar stock, including liquor, mixers, glassware, and snacks.
Arrange bottles and glasses attractively and slice fruit for garnishes.
Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
Replenish beverages and bar snacks, frequently checking guest satisfaction.
Perform side work and general cleaning tasks following health and safety standards.
Maintain clean equipment and report any repairs.
Ensure compliance with all tribal and internal control standards.
Present a positive image of the organization and assist guests and vendors as needed.
Follow all safety policies, attend required meetings and trainings.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Associate's degree preferred.
Six months to one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to pass periodic random drug screenings and background investigations.
Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License and any other required certifications.
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. within 72 hours of employment.

Physical Demands:

Frequent talking, hearing, standing, walking, and sitting.
Occasional use of hands and arms for handling and reaching.
May occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to occasionally lift or push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required, including color and peripheral vision.
May work in low light and loud noise environments.

Work Environment:

Multiple locations with some open 24/7 requiring flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
Must be available for emergency calls.
Gaming environment with surveillance monitoring.
Smoking may be permitted in some areas.
