Overview: The Bartender is responsible for the complete setup and breakdown of the bar area, mixing drinks according to hotel standards, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring guest satisfaction, and managing liquor inventory. Strict adherence to state liquor laws is required.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
Be attentive, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and coworkers.
Set up and break down the bar according to hotel standards.
Prepare beverages and cocktails following the hotel’s mixing and presentation standards.
Serve guests promptly and efficiently.
Follow all state liquor laws and hotel policies.
Handle service areas cleanliness and organization during and after shifts.
Respond appropriately to guest concerns, complaints, and accidents.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Be familiar with hotel services, facilities, and safety procedures, including fire exits and extinguisher locations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to stand for entire shifts and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude.
Willingness to work flexible and long hours as required.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including uniform and nametag compliance.
Ability to handle confidential information and show initiative.
Capable of cross-training in other hotel-related areas.
Comply with all hotel standards and safety regulations.

Additional duties as assigned by management.
