Title: Cruise Room Cocktail Server

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and take food and drink orders, accommodating special requests.
Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience, adhering to restaurant standards.
Complete restocking and cleaning duties, including opening and closing sidework.
Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials to assist and recommend to customers.
Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, wait station, and kitchen service areas to meet health standards.
Handle guest checks accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
Receive and process payments, ensuring accuracy to protect customers and the company.
Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance communication and product knowledge.
Respond to customer inquiries and comments promptly in person and by phone.
Present a clean and professional appearance and maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 months experience in a similar role.
Basic knowledge of customer service, food service functions, and restaurant/kitchen operations.
Familiarity with standard cash-handling procedures.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in busy, noisy environments.
Strong interpersonal skills to handle various customer service situations tactfully.

Physical Demands:

Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs (serving trays, carts, tables, chairs, and small equipment).
Frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and handling tasks.
Full range of mobility and ability to travel up to 300 feet regularly.
Continuous standing during preparation, service, and expediting.
Manual coordination to operate buttons, grasp items, and balance/carry loaded trays.
Ability to hear, see clearly in dim light, and communicate effectively.
Moderate literacy to read and follow verbal and written instructions.

Work Environment:

Physically demanding with prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and carrying in a 95% indoor environment.
Freezer temperatures as low as -10 degrees.

Requirements: Candidates must have at least 3 months of experience in a similar server role, a high school education or equivalent, fluency in English, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
