Grand Elk Golf Club, located in Granby, CO, offers an excellent part-time Bartender opportunity. Join a fast-paced, hospitality-focused organization and contribute to Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose: Prepare and serve guests delicious beverages according to established standards with professionalism and hospitality. Create memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Essential Duties:

Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control and maintain inventory records.
Assist department leaders with creating seasonal cocktails and developing menus.
Support social media schedule and content creation.
Maintain inventory control through careful monitoring and communicate supply needs promptly.
Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and management procedures.
Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
Handle cash and checks using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Review banquet schedules, calendars, and special events.
Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
Occasionally serve meals to guests.
Incorporate safe work practices.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.
One to three months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
Meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with restaurant POS systems such as POSITOUCH and MICROS.

Physical Demands: Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, uses hands, and reaches with arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells, and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and current industry trends.
Knowledge of cocktail recipes.
Professional and courteous demeanor.
Strong commitment to company values.
Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation to employees, clients, and vendors.
Fluent in English speaking, writing, and understanding.
