Title: On-Call Banquet Bartender

We are seeking a dynamic Banquet Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for hospitality and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

Greet every guest promptly with a smile and maintain eye contact
Maintain a professional, courteous, and gracious demeanor at all times
Communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues and other hotel departments
Deliver an enjoyable guest experience aligned with the hotel’s standards of excellence, professionalism, and friendliness
Demonstrate expert knowledge of service sequence and follow it consistently
Expertly use the POS system to accurately coordinate guest food and beverage orders
Stock bar areas with beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware, and condiments
Have full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques
Know all bar products including beers, cocktails, specialty drinks, daily specials, and unavailable items; ensure proper drink preparation
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times
Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures and policies
Handle all service issues promptly and professionally
Manage payment processing, including cash handling and proper gratuity distribution
Assist coworkers as needed to support a positive work environment
Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as required

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum three years of experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
Ethical conduct and positive attitude
Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera PMS
