Job Description
Bakan Wynwood is seeking an enthusiastic bartender to deliver an excellent guest drinking experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating both classic and innovative drinks that exceed customers’ expectations. Compensation includes salary and commissions.
Shifts require availability on weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present the bar menu
- Verify customers’ identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Set up, restock, and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Maintain a guest-focused attitude to nurture an excellent experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
- Relevant training certification
- Must be 18 years or older
