We are seeking a Bartender (or Mixologist) to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. Daily responsibilities include verifying customer identification and age, mixing and serving drinks, handling payments, cleaning bar utensils, and balancing cash receipts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet guests and coworkers in a friendly, service-oriented manner with a positive attitude.
Promote a positive work environment and resolve conflicts calmly.
Engage guests to create a positive experience.
Verify identification and ensure compliance with legal age requirements.
Prepare a variety of popular and creative cocktails and be familiar with wines and beers.
Take beverage orders and suggest drinks based on customer preferences.
Practice upselling and suggestive selling techniques.
Stock beer and wine, clean utensils, glasses, and work surfaces.
Maintain an organized and attractive bar area.
Collect payments, process credit card transactions, and manage cash accurately.
Monitor for unsafe situations and prevent alcohol consumption by minors.
Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, attractions, and activities.
Organize special functions as directed by management.
Stay informed of hotel events and promotions.
Handle guest complaints professionally and solve problems when possible.
Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year bartending and customer service experience; hospitality experience preferred.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Effective English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
Knowledge of reservation and POS systems.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with software.
Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
