Title: Bartender - Sawgrass

The Bartender is responsible for providing beverage services to Vicar's Landing Main Dining Room, Lounge, and catered events in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as specified by the Bartender's Drink Mixing Guide.
Manage Member's Lounge charges, ensuring daily tallying and completion of liquor usage sheets.
Assist with weekly liquor inventory and ordering.
Provide courteous and gracious service to residents and guests while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Follow all community policies, procedures, and attendance rules.
Maintain personal hygiene, cleanliness, and wear appropriate uniform.
Attend in-service training and educational seminars as assigned.
Maintain safe and sanitary work conditions.
Set tables and maintain workstations according to policy, ensuring no disruption to member services.
Communicate menu selections, specials, and customer requests effectively.
Complete assigned side work, including cleaning and sanitizing the Cocktail Lounge and Bar areas.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Minimum of four years of high school education or GED.
12 to 18 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to pass background check and drug test.
Ability to complete responsible vendor program as required.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear.
Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and walk on roofs.
Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds and work at heights.
Required vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to communicate verbally by phone or in person.
