Job Description

Title: Bartender

Job Summary: As a Bartender, you will be responsible for setting up the bar area, preparing and mixing beverages, serving customers with a high level of customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar.

Job Duties:

Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
Operate cash register, accept payments by cash or credit card, and provide accurate change.
Monitor guests for intoxication and prohibit sale to intoxicated patrons; arrange transportation as needed.
Comply with all federal, state, and local laws related to alcohol service.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages timely and according to company standards.
Greet customers and take beverage orders from restaurant servers.
Perform shift opening and closing duties.
Present menus, take orders, and serve food to guests seated at the bar.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain bar area including counters and equipment.
Prepare garnishes and replenish stock of beverages and supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED (required).
Previous bartender experience.
Professional appearance.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency including email and internet use.
Valid driver's license.
