TPC Sugarloaf is a premier private club located within the gated community of Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth, Georgia. As part of the prestigious TPC Network, the Club offers an exceptional country club experience beyond the golf course, with amenities for the entire family and personalized service.

The Banquet Bartender courteously and efficiently prepares member and guest beverage requests using standard measuring devices and approved formulas.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent education
At least one year of similar bartending experience with thorough knowledge of beverage preparation, operational procedures, and bar sanitation

Responsibilities:

Set up the bar according to TPC standards and ensure required beverage inventory levels per Banquet Event Order
Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of the bar and immediate area, including ice, glassware, and napkins
Secure the bar area, allowing only authorized personnel behind the bar
Prepare and serve beverages promptly, following pouring and garnishing standards to control costs
Address member and guest complaints promptly and professionally
Comply with R.A.M. or Tips programs and all state and federal laws relating to alcohol and tobacco
Attend pre-banquet meetings as requested
Verify legal age of members and guests before serving alcoholic beverages
Monitor for intoxicated patrons; do not serve anyone visibly intoxicated and report to management
Close and break down the bar, reconciling beverage consumption and inventory according to procedures
Handle cash transactions accurately and record sales properly
Operate within PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties policies and TPC Brand Standards
Maintain proper sanitation and food service regulations
Assist other employees with banquet services as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, use hands, talk, and hear
Must lift or move up to 25 pounds
Requires good close vision, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to focus
Must comply with all applicable safety and health regulations

Travel:

No travel expected

Work Schedule:

Shifts as necessary based on business levels

Supervisory Responsibility:

No direct supervisory responsibilities
