Job Description
Title: Hilton Marietta Bartender - Evenings and Weekends Required
What You Will Be Doing:
- Prepare and serve drinks efficiently, maintaining knowledge of all liquors, recipes, prices, proper glassware, and garnishes.
- Maintain bar supplies, including preparation of daily requisition as needed.
- Accurately handle cash transactions using MICROS system or registers, including correct discounting, banking procedures, and tip policies.
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, acknowledge all guests, and maintain positive guest relations.
- Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Complete formal liquor liability training within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High work ethic and self-initiative.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Availability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Enjoy working as part of a team dedicated to providing great guest experiences.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing 10–25 pounds.
- Ability to perform fine motor tasks such as typing and handling equipment.
- Visual and auditory ability to engage with guests and operate systems.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drinks and maintain bar inventory.
- Handle cash and register transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent guest service by anticipating needs and resolving complaints.
