Title: Bartender - Georgia Southern Athletics
Job Description: Become a master of mixology as a Bartender with Aramark. You will serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, provide excellent guest service, and manage cash transactions. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills while working with passionate teammates and leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and take orders
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Provide drinks to servers from the service well when needed
- Adhere to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines, including checking IDs for age verification
- Handle cash and credit card transactions following cash handling policies
- Set up and break down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
- Take inventory and restock products as necessary
- Provide excellent guest service by anticipating needs and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain a positive attitude toward guests, clients, and co-workers
- Ensure the security of company assets
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of bartending principles, drink recipes, and current trends
- Ability to obtain required Aramark and state/local alcohol service certifications
- Strong hospitality skills with friendliness and comprehensive beverage knowledge
- Organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, fun environment
- Availability for a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
