About the Location:

Located on the southeastern coast of the island of Lāna’i, Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i offers a secluded oceanfront destination with personalized island escapes. The five-star resort features outdoor restaurants including Nobu Lāna’i, a kid’s club, Tennis Garden, cultural programming, beach and pool areas, Hawanawana spa, luxury boutiques, and an award-winning Jack Nicklaus-signature golf course with ocean views. Activities managed by Four Seasons include sunset sails, whale watching, horseback riding, sporting clays, archery, biking, hiking, and aerial adventures.

Bartender Position:

Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is seeking a Bartender passionate about excellence and enthusiasm. The position requires sharing exceptional knowledge of the resort and delivering service guided by the Golden Rule. Legal work authorization is required.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve drinks with consistency, accuracy, and personalized artistry.
Provide warm, professional, and anticipatory service to bar guests and support dining room beverage service.
Recognize frequent guests and personalize service based on preferences.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the bar menu, seasonal offerings, wine list, and pairing recommendations.
Uphold fine dining standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation at the bar.
Engage guests with personalized conversation, menu guidance, and education on cocktails, wine, and spirits.
Manage inventory levels, assist with counting, ordering, and restocking.
Follow cash handling procedures, PCI guidelines, and responsible alcohol service policies.
Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen, sommeliers, servers, and management.
Maintain mise en place and readiness for service.
Assist in creating seasonal cocktail menus and suggest beverage pairings.

Requirements:

Legal work authorization in the United States.
Obtain a Hawaii State Department of Health TB clearance card.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed.
Availability on weekends and holidays.
Ability to accurately use computer systems.
Strong customer service skills.
