Job Description
Title: Part-time Bartender
Courtyard By Marriott Bettendorf is seeking a part-time bartender to join our team. The bar is located inside our hotel bistro, and the role involves serving both alcoholic drinks and food when needed.
Shift Hours:
- Evening shifts from 4/4:30 PM to 10/10:30 PM. Restaurant hours are 5 PM to 10 PM.
Compensation:
- $8.50 per hour plus tips.
- No tip sharing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take drink orders using suggestive selling and upselling techniques.
- Inform guests of specials and make recommendations on beverages and food.
- Prepare cocktails and other alcoholic drinks.
- Process guest orders, checks, and payments promptly.
- Stock inventory.
- Complete close-of-shift reports and deposits.
- Perform other duties as required within the department.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of one year bartending experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Prior customer service experience desired.
