The Wylder is hiring a talented Bartender to join our dynamic and growing hospitality team at the hippest spot in town. We seek someone invested in our Core Values: Be Clear, Be Caring, Be Professional, Be Honest, and Hold the Standard.

Essential Functions:

Must have TIPS certification
Create memorable guest experiences through food and drink suggestions, prompt and accurate service, and a positive attitude
Answer menu and service-related questions professionally and confidently
Set up, prep, and tear down the bar each shift
Have extensive knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine; follow all recipes precisely
Monitor and maintain food and drink standards for quality, appearance, and safety
Process cash and credit transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Handle guest concerns by listening, informing management, and helping resolve issues
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including bar stools, tables, and floors
Communicate with servers and managers about seating availability and special requests
Assist with front-of-house operations, bussing, and resetting tables as needed
Support bar-backs and operate kitchen equipment when required
Exhibit effective communication, a positive attitude under stress, and teamwork

Requirements:

Passion for the restaurant industry
Ability to follow detailed directions and standard restaurant procedures
Ability to prepare food and beverages according to specifications and maintain quality standards
Proficient and safe use of kitchen tools and machinery
Accurate handling of cash, credit, and gift card transactions
Ability to serve guests efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized and able to work under pressure
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
