Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly, professionally, and in a timely manner.
Be fluent in all food and beverage menus.
Assist guests with menu inquiries, accommodating allergies and dietary restrictions.
Check back with guests regarding dishes and beverages, refreshing drinks as needed.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with all service team members.
Maintain knowledge of products and restaurant history.
Provide beer, wine, and crafted cocktails for service staff to deliver to guests.
Detect off flavors and ensure beverage quality before serving.
Inform service staff and management of sold-out or changed items during service.
Assist with receiving and stocking beverage deliveries.
Change kegs and gas tanks when necessary.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must hold a Food Handlers certificate and an Alcohol Serving certificate from an ABC-accredited program.
Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant.
Ability to handle stress and provide quality guest service.
Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.
Coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail.
Ability to move quickly and carefully in confined spaces.
Flexible and open-minded regarding job demands and tasks.
Proficient in using all equipment necessary for restaurant operations.
Able to move or handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Available to work varied hours and days as business requires.

Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and maintaining a professional appearance in a clean uniform.
