About the Role:

The Bartender position at our Wine Shop is a dynamic role focused on delivering exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to work standing for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items.
Excellent guest service skills with a professional and well-groomed appearance.
Reliable attendance and punctuality to maintain consistent service coverage.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in bartending or mixology from a recognized institution.
Experience working in a fine dining or upscale wine shop setting.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
Knowledge of local and state alcohol service laws and regulations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
Provide attentive and personalized guest service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and equipment.
Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies and reporting shortages to management in a timely manner.
Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently, balancing the cash register at the end of shifts.
Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions while lifting and carrying heavy items as needed.
