Title: Bartender

Compensation The starting pay for this position is $9 per hour plus tips. Actual compensation may vary based on skill set, experience, or location.

What You’ll Be Doing

Welcome guests with a smile and serve drinks that enhance their movie experience
Learn bartending basics through provided training, including mixing drinks and pouring perfect portions
Suggest featured and premium beverages to guests
Verify IDs to ensure guests are 21 or older, complying with all legal requirements
Maintain a clean, stocked bar area ready for service
Open and close the bar, setting up and putting things away properly
Follow safe use of cleaning chemicals and materials
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Foster an inclusive environment where all guests feel welcomed and respected
Adhere to AMC Wardrobe Standards, including black non-slip shoes, black pants, and AMC-provided shirts where applicable
Maintain professionalism and a positive demeanor
Comply with all AMC company policies and procedures

What We Need From You

Must be at least 21 years old
Bartending experience is valued but not required; training will be provided
Availability during evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
Reliable and punctual
Willingness to complete required training and certifications
Friendly and outgoing personality with strong guest service, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment
Passion for movies and creating excellent guest experiences

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation)

Frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet or deposit into a dumpster/trash compactor
