Title: BARTENDER

Job Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including verifying proper identification and detecting guest inebriation.
Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Greet guests courteously.
Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and practice prudent portion control.
Receive cash, make change, verify charges, record sales, and manage vouchers.
Secure beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash; lock up and ensure bank security.
Perform general cleaning to maintain health and safety standards; keep the work area clean and organized.
Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display.
Wash and sterilize glassware.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ability to detect guest inebriation and verify proper identification per laws.
Maintain a clean work area.
Follow standard ingredient recipes.
