Job Overview: As a Bartender, you are responsible for creating and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, while providing exceptional customer service. Your skills in mixology, knowledge of drink recipes, and friendly demeanor contribute to the overall success and atmosphere of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and attention to detail.
Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency.
Greet guests warmly and engage in friendly, attentive interactions.
Assist guests in selecting beverages and provide recommendations.
Handle inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.
Maintain deep knowledge of the bar's drink menu, ingredients, flavor profiles, and pairings.
Stay updated on industry trends and new beverage offerings.
Educate guests on unique qualities of various drinks.
Monitor and manage inventory including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
Ensure adequate stock levels within budget.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, reconcile sales at shift end.
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and bartenders to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff when needed.

Qualifications:

Previous bartending experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and carrying kegs and supplies.
Tolerance for exposure to alcohol and ability to manage stressful situations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime compensation according to applicable laws.
