Job Summary: The AM Bartender is responsible for delivering a refined and welcoming beverage experience to members and guests during early service hours. This role requires efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail, serving golfers before and after rounds while upholding the club’s high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, juices, and cocktails
- Provide prompt, courteous service to members and guests in bar and lounge areas
- Set up and break down the bar for morning service, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Maintain full knowledge of drink menus, daily specials, and club offerings
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately
- Restock bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain a clean, polished bar area that reflects the club’s standards
- Assist with special events, tournaments, and member functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience required; country club or fine dining experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and coffee service
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, member-focused environment
- Reliable and punctual, with early morning availability including weekends and holidays
