Title: Event Bartender

Location: Legends Field - Kansas City, KS 66111

We provide catering for weddings, holiday parties, corporate retreats, and social gatherings with creative menus, seamless service, and elevated design expertise.

Proof of the Pudding, food service provider for the Kansas City Monarchs, is seeking experienced Bartenders. This seasonal/part-time position depends on athletic and special events.

Responsibilities:

Set up and break down the bar before and after events in a timely manner.
Maintain and operate the bar during events.
Communicate effectively with bar backs to ensure timely replenishment.
Greet guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Attend to guests’ needs throughout events.
Clean the bar after closing and properly store all items.
Adhere to food safety standards.
Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years bartending experience.
Valid TIPs certification or equivalent.
Knowledge of preparing mixed drinks and upscale/VIP service styles.
Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Highly organized, hardworking, responsible, and a team player.
Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
Hold a City of Beloit Bartender’s License.
Reside in or near Kansas City, KS.

Work Environment:

Event operations throughout Legends Field.
Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
