Title: Barback - Silver Lyan

Riggs Washington DC is located at the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter’s 9th and F Street in a historic building that once housed Riggs National Bank. The hotel features 181 guest rooms with a playful nod to the building’s legacy. Riggs is home to Café Riggs, a European brasserie-inspired restaurant, and Silver Lyan, a subterranean bar by internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana (Mr. Lyan).

Core Responsibilities:

Welcome guests in a warm, personable, and friendly manner.
Provide a welcoming environment for guests.
Manage all bar-related items and assist the bartender with their duties.
Collaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

A fun and welcoming personality is mandatory.
Previous bartender or related experience is highly preferred.
Willingness to learn.
Positive interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
