Job Description
The Castle & Key brand honors history while delivering a modern, high-quality experience for all guests. As an Event Bar Associate, you will serve at weddings, corporate events, special events, and Castle & Key-hosted occasions.
Work Environment:
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Extended periods of standing or walking required.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift objects over 50 pounds.
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wet).
- Regular off-hours, including nights and weekends, are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, recommending beverages, and engaging with guests professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout events.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event bars and ensure event spaces are well-prepared.
- Comply with all local and state alcohol regulations, including verifying IDs and ensuring responsible alcohol service.
- Collaborate with bartenders, servers, and catering staff for smooth event operations.
- Operate and maintain the draft cocktail system, including keg setup.
- Opportunity for cross-training in event operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven bartending experience, preferably in high-volume settings.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation with fresh ingredients.
- Familiarity with draft systems and keg management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Personal presentation and hygiene are essential.
