Tavern on Fourth is a lively venue combining traditional sports tavern elements with classic interactive games and high-quality food and beverage offerings. Guests enjoy corn-hole courts, foosball tables, darts, ping pong, shuffle puck, classic arcade games, and a billiard lounge. The eclectic menu features shareable plates, beer, and a well-appointed cocktail menu. The venue also offers private event spaces with second-level balconies overlooking 4th Street, 20+ TVs, and a private room.

Bartender Responsibilities include:

Providing an energetic, outgoing, and professional personality.
Ensuring all proper steps of service are performed.
Offering polite, professional, and courteous customer service.
Communicating effectively with co-workers and guests.
Mixing cocktails and preparing drinks according to recipes.
Serving wine, bottled, and draft beer.
Taking beverage orders from serving staff or guests.
Completing assigned side work.
Being knowledgeable about products to guide guest experience and promote sales.
Checking guests’ identification to ensure legal drinking age.
Presenting and encouraging current promotions.
Accurately recording orders, sales, and tips according to company policies.

Bartender Qualifications:

1-2 years of bartending experience in high-volume bars or nightclubs.
Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, glassware, preparation methods, and garnishments.
Formal bartending training preferred.
Must meet state legal age requirements.
Fluent in English; additional languages preferred.
Strong communication skills for interaction with guests and staff.
Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required.
Reading, writing, and basic math skills.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to handle, carry, or lift items up to 50 pounds.
Move efficiently and safely throughout the bar, lounge, and kitchen.
Safely handle food, objects, utensils, and products.
Ability to bend, stand, stoop, and kneel as needed.
