Responsibilities:
- Interact with beverage servers and guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area throughout all operating periods.
- Maintain par levels of supplies and equipment for each bar, restocking from warehouse inventory as needed.
- Store liquors, fruits, glassware, linens, paper supplies, and sundries according to established guidelines and safety procedures.
- Maintain inventory of all bar-related products.
- Support bartenders by icing drink glasses and preparing non-alcoholic drinks as required.
- Remove and properly dispose of refuse and debris in accordance with department procedures; sort bottles and cardboard for recycling.
- Complete additional job duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Prior food & beverage experience helpful but not required.
- Must obtain Bossier ABO and LACT certifications.
- Familiarity with bar environment preferred.
- Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a often crowded and noisy environment.
- Ability to stand, lift, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the duration of the shift.
