Job Location: LSF Legal Crossing LLC - Boston, MA 02111 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Salary Range: $17.00 Hourly
The Barback is responsible for assisting the bar staff by restocking beverage products, preparing garnishes, washing glassware, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area. This role supports efficient bar operations and ensures a pleasant environment for guests.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins, and other necessary items before and during service hours.
- Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs, and restock napkins and straws.
- Clean spills, remove glassware, and organize the counter.
- Maintain a neat and clean bar area.
- Provide hospitality when interacting with guests.
- Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff, and security to ensure efficient customer service.
- Handle emergency situations such as cleaning broken glass and clearing clogged drains.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma, equivalency degree, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to stand and move quickly for the entire shift.
- Good balance and able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, push, and pull.
- Frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Position involves repetitive hand and wrist motions.
