Location: Mass Appeal Draught House & Grille Status: Part Time Reports to: General Manager Salary: $6.75 per hour plus tips

Description: Hendler Family Brewing Company is reopening its newly renovated taproom at Patriot Place. The space is larger and designed to provide guests with a relaxing environment to enjoy great beer and food. Alongside the reopening, a full kitchen program featuring elevated New England classics will launch.

As a Bartender, you will be the face of the taproom, delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. You will provide knowledgeable beer recommendations and ensure top-notch service, supporting the mission of honoring tradition and innovation.

Essential Functions and Duties:

Provide excellent customer service and greet guests warmly.
Be knowledgeable about all food and beverage items, including new releases, seasonal offerings, and specialty cocktails.
Suggest and promote specialty cocktails with creativity.
Take and accurately process food and beverage orders, considering allergies and dietary preferences.
Answer guest questions and assist with reservations.
Maintain accurate cash drawer and handle credit card transactions.
Verify patrons' age for alcohol consumption.
Prepare and serve craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails according to company standards.
Assist in developing new specialty cocktails.
Complete beverage orders efficiently and change kegs as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Sanitize high-touch areas regularly and ensure bathroom cleanliness.
Assist with inventory management and taproom organization.
Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure order accuracy.
Communicate effectively with management and support taproom events.
Perform additional duties as needed to ensure excellent guest experience.

Job Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Punctual and responsible team player.
Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
Knowledge of craft beer is a plus.
Must have or be able to obtain food handler’s and alcohol server’s permits.
Willingness to learn about beer offerings and industry trends.
Available for day, night, and weekend shifts (minimum 5 hours), including Saturdays and/or Sundays.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Experience with Toast and GrubHub is a plus.
TIP Certification or Alcohol Intervention Methods Certification is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, reach, twist, and use hands and arms.
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
