Job Description
Title: Event Bartender
Description: As an Event Bartender at Fireside Catering at the Crane Estate, you will provide high-quality bar service to guests at events such as weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. Our team works at some of the most beautiful venues in Massachusetts, in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up bar tables, linens, and unloading bar supplies from the catering truck
- Prepare and serve drinks, including pouring beer and wine, mixing cocktails, and garnishing drinks
- Check IDs and uphold all alcohol service policies
- Ensure guests are served safely and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, wiping surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Perform opening and closing duties including setup and breakdown of the bar area
- Respond professionally and courteously to guest inquiries and complaints
- Collaborate with bartenders, servers, and other staff to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Prior bartending experience
- TIPS Certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
- Friendly demeanor with excellent hospitality skills
