Title: Bartender

Overview: Serve beverages and food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.

Growth Path: Beverage Manager / Restaurant Supervisor – Restaurant Manager – Food & Beverage Manager

Responsibilities:

Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
Prepare and serve drink and food orders.
Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests seated in bar and lounge areas.
Issue guest checks and complete payment processes.
Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
Complete required side work prior to shift end.
Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them.
Assist with beverage inventory.
Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma preferred.
Previous bartending or mixologist experience required.
TIPS certification is a plus.
Food Sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment.

Work Context:

Work schedule varies; may include holidays, weekends, and different shifts.
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
