Job Description
Title: Bartender
Position Summary: Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using proper measuring systems. Serve wine and champagne bottles, set up and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, tables, and tools. Prepare fresh garnishes, stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Transport supplies as needed, wash soiled glassware, and clear used items from bar and tables. Anticipate replenishment needs and process all payment methods. At shift end, count cash bank, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, secure receipts, and close out accurately. Secure all liquors, beers, wines, and storage areas. Perform closing duties responsibly.
Follow all company safety, security, and operational policies. Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions. Maintain a clean, professional appearance and protect company assets and confidential information. Greet guests warmly, anticipate service needs, and communicate clearly and professionally. Collaborate effectively with team members and support common goals. Adhere to quality standards consistently. Ability to read small print and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, and navigating various work environments safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Minimum 1 year related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- No licenses or certifications required
