Hyatt Place Portland Downtown Old Port Square is seeking a Part-Time Hotel Bartender to deliver outstanding customer service in a dynamic, high-end hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and customer requests.
Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age.
Maintain knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and pairings.
Suggest drinks based on customer preferences.
Greet customers and take orders efficiently.
Create a welcoming atmosphere through guest engagement.
Handle complaints professionally.
Monitor customer alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary.
Process payments via cash, credit card, or POS system.
Manage tabs and ensure accurate billing.
Restock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
Track inventory levels and report shortages.
Clean and sanitize bar equipment and maintain an organized bar area.
Dispose of trash and follow health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience focused on guest satisfaction.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage guests and collaborate with team members.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.
