We are currently seeking a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team in a year-round role.

Please note: This position is not eligible for J1 or H2B employment sponsorship.

Schedule:

Approximately 30–35 hours per week
Four to five shifts per week
Must be available for days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Position Summary: The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while preparing and serving quality cocktails, beverages, and light fare in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and serve guests with professionalism and hospitality
Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages consistently and accurately
Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, menu items, promotions, and gift certificates
Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in accordance with Maine liquor laws
Handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, lounge, and workstations
Assist guests with questions, concerns, and special requests
Complete side work, stocking, and cleaning duties
Support team members and assist with training when needed
Become proficient with the POS system and hotel procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
1 year of related experience or equivalent hospitality experience
Basic math and cash handling skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
TIPS Certification required or ability to obtain
Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Professional communication and strong teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented during guest interactions
Previous bartending or serving experience preferred
