Job Description
Title: Bartender
Description: Providing excellent service by preparing great drinks for our guests is the top priority. You will interact with guests seated at the bar or in the bar area, aiming to create a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and present beverage menus.
- Make recommendations and answer related questions.
- Verify customers’ legal drinking age by checking identification.
- Take orders from serving staff or directly from guests.
- Enter drink orders accurately into the point-of-sale system.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Upsell beverage and food items to guests.
- Follow established procedures to manage customers’ excessive drinking.
- Maintain clean glasses, bar equipment, and work areas.
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift.
- Monitor and restock bar inventory.
- Prepare juices and fruit for service.
Requirements:
- Bartender certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge or interest in beer, liquor, and wine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and work ethic.
- Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds.
- Ability to work all shifts.
