Join Our Team as a Banquet Bartender!

Are you looking to join a team with flexibility, opportunities for growth, a great benefits package, and fantastic teamwork? We are seeking Part-Time Banquet Bartenders with flexible availability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve beverages using established pour standards and drink recipes.
Set up the bar including liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
Receive cash and credit payments from customers and give accurate change.
Count and secure the bartender’s bank and balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift according to hotel procedures.
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when to stop service to guests.
Notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired guests.
Check identification of guests who appear to be under 40 years old.
Resolve guest problems and complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines.
Engage with guests and colleagues and work as a team.
Perform pre- and post-shift work as assigned.
Requisition necessary supplies per hotel procedures and manage liquor inventory.
Ensure all liquor is properly secured before, during, and after shifts.
Inspect equipment and machinery for proper operation.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and bar areas.
Follow hotel safety protocols and report any incidents immediately to management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum six months of prior food service experience preferred.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and able to pass ServSafe Alcohol Safety training.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Ability to use required software and applications.

Physical Demands:

Work primarily indoors with controlled temperatures; able to work in extreme temperatures (freezers at -10ºF and kitchens above +110ºF) as needed.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and maneuver carts up to 250 pounds occasionally.
Ability to remain mobile for up to 8 hours.
Ability to maneuver between tables and in tight spaces.
Frequent grasping, reaching, and manual dexterity required.
