Job Description
Title: Event Bartender
Location: Suttons Bay, MI 49682 Position Type: Part-Time / Seasonal Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly
Purpose: To provide professional bar service during events while showcasing Black Star Farms wines, cocktails, and beverages.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve wine, cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and check IDs when necessary.
- Set up and break down bar stations before and after events.
- Manage bar inventory and communicate supply needs.
- Provide recommendations and promote Black Star Farms wines.
- Maintain safety and sanitary standards.
- Assist guests with beverage selections and requests.
- Collaborate closely with the Event Coordinator to ensure efficient service.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum 1–2 years bartending experience preferred.
- TAMs/TIPS certification required (provided if needed).
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine service, and bar operations.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Professional appearance and positive demeanor.
Hours: Varies depending on event schedule; evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
Reporting To: Event Coordinator
Pay Rate: Hourly, up to $22.00 per hour.
